Lao Gan Ma or Old Godmother is a brand of chili sauces made in China. The sauce is produced by Laoganma Special Flavour Foodstuffs Company, which was established in 1997.Tao Huabi from Guizhou province began the development of the sauce in August 1996, employing 40 people at that time in a workshop environment.
